Here’s To A Great 2009

Our latest mystery man.....now revealed as Stewart Ross.
We at Wolves Heroes extend best wishes to all our readers for a happy, healthy and points-filled 2009.
Hopefully, this year will be a momentous one at Molineux, with some of the heights of previous decades being revisited.
We remain fully committed to keeping the stars of yesteryear in the public eye from time to time - as well as revealing to fans the whereabouts of old favourites. Since Christmas, we have already filed stories about Mick Gooding, Stewart Ross, Bobby Gould and, for sadder reasons, George Miller and Ian Greaves.
The promised article about the little-known Ross is an astonishing one, complete, as usual, with then-and-now photographs.
In addition, we have kicked off the New Year by adding to our Picture Archive.
We remain well ahead of the sort of schedule we initially envisaged when this site was launched almost five months ago and are making contact with players far and wide almost on a daily basis, so please keep surfing.
All told, we’ve now carried pieces on more than 60 ex-Wolves favourites: Paul Cook, Phil Robinson, Peter Knowles, Paul Blades, Les Wilson, Dean Edwards, Steve Bull, Hugh McIlmoyle, Mark Kendall, Dave Wagstaffe, Darren Roberts, Phil Parkes, Gary Bellamy, Floyd Streete, Vince Bartram, Bobby Gould, Mark Burke, Mick Kearns, Michael Gilkes, Micky Holmes, John Farrington, Jon Purdie, Evan Williams, Neil Emblen, Bill Shorthouse, Jimmy Murray, Jackie Gallagher, Danny Hegan, Derek Parkin, Andy Sinton, Bob Hatton, Bobby Thomson, Martin Patching, Fred Davies, John Holsgrove, Bob Hazell, Frank Wignall, Carl Robinson, Eddie Stuart, George Showell, Darren Bazeley, Kenny Hibbitt, Geoff Sidebottom, Hugh Curran, Chris Marsden, David Burnside, Andy Mutch, Lawrie Madden, Ian Ross, Derek Mountfield, Mike O’Grady, Steve Froggatt, Derek Jefferson, Alex McIntosh, Ron Flowers, Steve Daley, John McAlle, Dave Thomas, Paul Jones, Mick Gooding, Stewart Ross, George Miller and Ian Greaves.
Others have been located and, in some cases, already interviewed. The search continues for others, though, so please help us where you can - and in spreading the word about our emergence in cyberspace.
