Posting With A World Cup Flavour

Steve Bull….World Cup Wanderer.

World Cup 2018 is almost here – and we are preparing ourselves for a partial change of direction to reflect the fact.

As with the finals of other major tournaments in the last decade or so, we are planning to tailor our output on here for a few weeks to capture the mood of the country.

That means the vast majority of our posts in the coming weeks will have a flavour of either past tournaments, of some Molineux impact on the England team or of any Wolves links with Russia.

The theme will be maintained for at least as long as Gareth Southgate’s side are involved in the competition, so we hope to have to dig deep and keep things going for a good while!

With that in mind, we ask our loyal readers what ideas and even requests they might have to bring to the table.

Is there a particular angle you would like us to look at in June or July that you think we haven’t given adequate publicity to the past? Is there an event you would like us to research and highlight? Have we previously forgotten or omitted to mention an England matter that we should really be bringing to theĀ attention of our readership?

If so, please hit the ‘contact’ button near the top right of this page and email us with your enquiry or suggestion.

We can’t promise to publicise all issues that you ask us to but we guarantee that we will reply to everyone who gets in touch and will do our best not to leave any important stones unturned.

Our summer change of course is due to start on or around the date of England’s opening group game, against Tunisia in Volgograd on Monday, June 18.

That gives our audience at least a week to get thinking and have a say into what they might be reading on here during the tournament.

As ever, we thank everyone for their interest in what we write and express the fervent wish that the bond continues and even strengthens.
