Ron Flowers has expressed his joy at hearing that his former club and country team-mate Bert Williams has been made an MBE. The legendary Molineux keeper was named yesterday as the recipient of the accolade in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List, having narrowly missed out in the New Year’s List last winter.
