We at Wolves Heroes are committed to carrying on working in earnest through the current difficulties.
Self-isolation and social distancing do cause us inconvenience of course – but not of the magnitude that would threaten a significant reduction in our output of stories.
We therefore intend to continue publishing new pieces every three days, conscious as we are that our loyal readership has more free time at present to see what we are up to.
In other words, we will do our best to keep life as illuminated as possible for as long as it takes to return to normality and to the live sport we all cherish.
How we long for the day we have to get busy updating our Legends and Managers areas again – that can only mean matches have resumed and Matt Doherty, Conor Coady and Nuno are climbing the lists.
One advantage of the strict anti-spread measures in the meantime is that we are finding it easier to catch up with former Wolves favourites as they are spending more time at home.
We have had one extended chat this week to a 1960s Molineux first-teamer and text contact with two or three others, the latter partly aimed at making sure certain individuals are bearing up okay under the strain.
We will be back with a more regular type of story on Friday and thereafter at our usual tempo – and hope and trust you will be back here, too, when you can be.
One temporary change may concern the Dear Diary feature we post in the first few days of each month.
The spot will appear next week as usual but may be suspended for a few weeks after that if isolation continues to prohibit movement and the chance to meet our heroes face to face.
As ever, we welcome any comments from you about the content on our site, in particular about the ideas you like most and others you may feel have run their course.
