Wolves And February 29 - It Barely Happens

European football is not only helping Wolves to make big slices of history. It's also denying them smaller chunks of it. Special Anniversary Of Defender's Big Night

It was some guest list...….George Best, Billy Wright, Bill Shankly, Joe Mercer, Gareth Edwards, John Toshack, Jack Taylor, Andy Gray and the rest of the Wolves team, even legendary Grand National winner Red Rum. Another Welcome Move On The Chart

Matt Doherty is heading towards another milestone by closing in on his latest significant climb up Wolves' all-time record appearance-makers' list. So now it is south-east to Germany rather than north-east to Malmo that we will look from a distance in following Rob Kelly's career in the dug-out. A week and a bit on from Uwe Rosler's appointment as head coach of Fortuna Dusseldorf, the 55-year-old former Wolves midfielder and youth coach has made the expected same move in his wake.
